ETIENNE CAMPAORE |

Etienne Campaore is 24
years old and he is in his second year at university this year. At the time of this
writing (Aug 09) the school year is not yet finished. This year has been very difficult at
the university. There were many student strikes and teacher strikes and consequently the
school year has been extended. If all goes well for the rest of the year, Etienne will
finish towards the end of December. Etienne's mother and father have both died. He has been at the orphanage since 2003. Etienne is an impressive young man. He is studying sociology and hopes to graduate in one more year. He hopes to work for a private NGO similar to Sheltering Wings where he will be able to help the children of Burkina and make a difference in his generation.
