Matthieu is 20 years
old this year. By our standards in the States, Matthieu is old for just finishing high
school. But, the school system here is very undeveloped when compared with the US and
actually Matthieu has finished much earlier than most students. Matthieu is a very
diligent student. He has worked hard and the proof of his efforts is in receiving his
diploma.
Matthieu will be attending the university in Ouagadougou this year and he will be majoring
in English. He hopes to be able to teach and to do translation work when he graduates.
